Handcrafted Jewelry Inspired by Love and Imperfection

Alice Caprice was born from the impulse to create and the need to persevere. Caprice means to make a sudden change or whimsy. That certainly describes my journey to metalsmithing. I took one class on a whim, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Alice is the name of my grandmother. She did not have an easy life, but she had metal and the ability to persevere. She was strong and independent while moving through the world with an eye on the bright side and a dirty joke at the ready. These two elements are the inspiration for Alice Caprice.
